Senior Citizens in Pakistan

Pakistan is not a good country for old people.

In pakistan , number of senior citizens is increasing continuously , but facilities  provided them is equal to none . they have to work hard for living until they can  work , rest of their life depends on their children , if they are eager to help out, that is advantage for them , but if they are non cooperative , they find their worse days of life ahead. That was a social aspect .
Biggest responsibility goes to state. These senior citizens, that deserve this age to be the best part of their lives, find  no more comfort here. If they were govt servants , they usually get pension , but it is not enough to fulfill their needs. Instead of facilitating them , our govt and banks increase their troubles. people with no pension are an other chapter . I have seen many of them just begging and weeping on their old good days when they worked.. they are left alone , children are busy in their own life. Many of them die untreated in rural areas.They have no income , no medical insurance, no social security . 
Many new laws and social works are required for senior citizens . At least they should be counted humans . I request all parts of society ,govt , NGO's to join hands for welfare of senior citizens . Many reforms and many steps are needed to take.
